9-year-old Kira Gubina from Chernihiv cut her long hair to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This idea came to the child in a shelter, where she, along with her parents, brothers and sister, hid from the shelling.

The child found an ad on the Internet that girls cut their hair and get paid for it.
The girl grew her hair all her life, so before the visit to the hairdresser she was very worried.

Very strange feeling. My heart is pounding because I'm cutting my hair for the first time in my life. What will be? What will they do with me?
Before the war, the girl's father Ivan did not allow her to cut her braids, said that her daughter's hair was gorgeous and thought that it should not be cut.
However, when he learned about his daughter's idea, he agreed.

The Gubin family has four children. They moved to Chernihiv two years ago. Their house stands on the outskirts of the city, which has been shelled by Russian troops since the first days of the war. The house has survived, but needs repair. Asked why she didn't spend money on renovating her room, for example, Kira answered:
Well, because they don't need any lights in the room. They need, for example, bread, food, water. Maybe they collect some on the walkie-talkie. So I have to add to them. I think I should straight. I just want to do something for the Armed Forces
