A 12-year-old boy and a woman with two children died in the private sector in Kharkiv, near Lysa Hora, after the Russian shelling. Toys are still lying at the site of the explosion.

“When I ran, he was lying down. There was no chance. There, the whole head was cut off." — Cherkasov recalls.

The youngest, 4-year-old Mariyka, is in hospital with shrapnel wounds. The shelling jumped on children as they played outside. Now residents of until recently quiet streets, scared, are thinking of evacuating. Nobody knows where Russian shells may fly next.
