An investigation has been launched into criminal proceedings for violations of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder.
The Russian occupiers shot dead seven people in the village of Pravdyne, Belozersky District, Kherson Oblast, and blew up a house with the dead. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office on Wednesday, April 13.
“On April 12, in the village of Pravdyne, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces shot dead six men and a woman in an apartment building. After that, intending to hide the crime, the occupiers blew up the house with the bodies of those shot"
– the message reads.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into criminal proceedings on violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Every effort is being made to establish the circumstances of the incident and to identify the victims.
