During the hostilities against Ukraine, the Russian occupiers damaged 261 health care facilities, and 13 hospitals cannot be rebuilt.

“From regions where we can get data – 261 health care facilities are damaged. This includes both multidisciplinary hospitals and family medicine clinics. In particular, 13 hospitals have been completely destroyed – it can no longer be restored, only new construction"

– said the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko

Viktor Lyashko added that 65 ambulances were also fired upon and disabled.

There were reports of casualties among the medics: since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, 6 medical workers have been killed and 18 others injured.
