First Deputy Minister of Health Oleksandr Komarida said that Ukraine currently has absolutely all vaccines available in accordance with the vaccination calendar. He also noted that there will be no shortage of these drugs due to a full-scale war.
The official noted that specialists of the Ministry of Health have developed a special plan-schedule for the receipt of vaccines. Financing of this project takes place at the expense of state funds and thanks to help from international donors.
We are sure that there will be enough vaccines for everyone. We have, since the beginning of the full-scale war, taken measures to redistribute both medicines and vaccines from the eastern regions to the western regions, so that internally displaced persons do not have problems accessing any treatment or vaccination. Therefore, you need to get vaccinated, you need to protect yourself from covid and routine vaccines according to the vaccination calendar
The representative of the Ministry of Health also commented on the situation with the availability of vital medicines in Ukraine. He noted that there is no shortage of medical drugs in the controlled territories.
The domestic pharmaceutical industry has shown its capacity, the largest pharmaceutical enterprises are working and providing Ukrainians with vital medicines. And the state is doing everything to increase the share of Ukrainian medicines on the market. This not only enables Ukrainians to be treated with quality medicines, but also helps the Ukrainian economy
