The head of the Ukrainian Association of Ambulatory Physicians Artem Svodkovsky told a press conference at the “Vidkrityy" TV channel that since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, AAM representatives have managed to attract about 300 tons of various humanitarian aid from donors from Europe, USA and others.
He said that the humanitarian cargo included a variety of medical supplies and equipment, food (including special baby formulas), personal hygiene products, bedding, clothing and more.
«In peacetime, our Association was engaged in promoting the protection and strengthening of the health of the people of Ukraine. With the start of a full-scale war, priorities changed. Now the AAM members have focused all their efforts on supporting Ukrainians who really need it, namely immigrants, the military, and medics. Over the past two months, members of the Association of Ambulatory Physicians have raised nearly two dozen large tranches of humanitarian aid. They were provided by donors, mainly medical colleagues and other philanthropists from Poland, Denmark, the United States, our compatriots from the western part of Ukraine, representatives of big business (MHP) and the banking sector (FUIB).»
Artem Svodkovsky said that the AAM members do not plan to rest on their laurels and are already actively working on finding donors and implementing new projects. All of them can be found on the website of the Association.
It will be recalled that AAM recently attracted another consignment of humanitarian aid from Ternopil
