Today, every organization is trying to provide as much help as possible to all those who have moved from cities where hostilities are taking place or to those who have lost everything.
With the permission of the Shirokiv village council, the center of volunteer assistance became the Novopetrivka gymnasium, which includes 5 villages - Dolynivka, Dniprovi holy, Fedorivka, Krylivske, Novopetrivka. Currently, 176 temporary migrants are registered there, many of them are children, large families, elderly people with disabilities, etc.
In addition, since September 2022, representatives of the gymnasium provide hot lunches for IDPs and socially vulnerable sections of the local population (hot lunches for 238 residents of the district).

When we arrived at the gymnasium, we met the girl Maryana, who was 8 months pregnant when the war began. She packed something in her luggage, and with her two daughters and a dog, went to the station, when the train came at 12 o'clock, a crowd of people simply carried her into the carriage, but without children... It's scary, this is the moment when many were lost and injured , because human psychosis is scary... The conductor of carriage 3 found the children and brought them to her. There was nowhere to stand even in the corridor, but the world is not without good people, so they gave her a place, because the whole carriage was afraid that labor would begin in the carriage..... So they got to Poland... there she gave birth, and after 3 months, she came back to Ukraine, where she was given a place to live in the Shirokiv village council.

Our humanitarian basket included food products, children's goodies, cereals, canned goods, condensed milk, salt, sugar, oil, medical syringes, medical gloves, bandages, wet wipes, etc.

All such citizens, families and children are helped by the Novopetriv Gymnasium with dedicated volunteers and charitable organizations. We will continue our activities and try to reach more people who need attention! Together to victory! Join in!
