Members of AAM visited the shelter, which houses displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories from the east and south of Ukraine. Organizers prepare dinners, help with basic necessities and provide psychological support to people who have moved from their homes with a minimal set of their own property and means of a decent existence. The shelter houses women, children and the elderly.
With the beginning of the full-scale offensive of the enemy-aggressor country, many villages of Shirokivska Rada began to receive displaced people, people who found themselves in trouble, and those who did not have living conditions after the shelling. At first, local activists and volunteers prepared dinners for the military, but later they started helping all IDP citizens. Today, the organizers prepare lunches and hot meals for more than 200 people every day, and the community directly provides living conditions for more than 2,000 people living in the settlement.
We came to the shelter with ultra-pasteurized milk, cookies, canned meat and fish, soups, baby food in the form of porridge and puree, and diapers. We are grateful to our regular donors and benefactors for this help.
The Association constantly keeps its "hand on the pulse" and responds quickly when people turn to us for help, because together and in a timely manner we can provide necessary things, food, and medical supplies to a large number of people who really need it. Thanks again to our charities. Together to victory!
