The Ministry of Health, together with the Ministry of Education, published updated rules for admission to higher medical educational institutions in 2022.
It is noted that the main difference of the entrance campaign this year is the absence of a classic external independent evaluation. Because of the war, this testing was replaced by one multi-subject test.
All applicants who have completed general secondary education (i.e., graduated from school) and plan to enter a university on a full-time basis must:
1. Decide on an educational institution and specialty (or several). It is also important to decide on priorities. Remember that entrants can submit up to 5 "budget" applications and up to 20 "contract" applications. ;
2. Prepare all necessary documents;
3. Successfully pass a multi-subject test (the main session lasts from July 18 to August 10, 2022, in addition to it, there is an additional and special one);
4. Register in the system;«Entrant's personal electronic account», upload documents there. Applications will be accepted through this office until August 23, 2022;
5. Pass a medical examination and other mandatory procedures. It is important to do this by the deadline no later than a day before the end of accepting applications;
6. Wait for the publication of the list of persons recommended for admission (with a note about enrollment in the budget or contract) by August 29.
After receiving the recommendation for admission, the applicant must submit the original documents. This can be done either in person or online (by sending scanned copies with an electronic signature).
After submitting the original documents, you only need to wait for the enrollment date:
• September 5 – for applicants with funds from the state or local budget,
• until September 30 of the current year - for entrants at the expense of individuals and/or legal entities.
After successfully submitting the original documents to the medical university, you become a medical student
