The President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, visited Ukraine and held talks with Volodymyr Zelenskyi, within the framework of which a number of agreements were reached on providing assistance to our country in eliminating the consequences of a full-scale war.
Joko Widodo visited the city of Irpin and promised that the Indonesian government would participate in the restoration of destroyed medical institutions in the Kyiv region.
We will do everything possible to ensure that the government and our Indonesian people provide medical aid and also participate in the restoration of hospitals in the Kyiv region
In addition, as part of the visit, the First Lady of Indonesia, Iriana, handed over humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian Center for Endocrinology and Surgery, Transplantation of Organs and Endocrine Tissue.
The President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, also noted that Ukraine is of great importance in global food security, especially in the issue of grain exports. That is why he believes that our country should receive security guarantees to ensure unhindered exports through Ukrainian seaports.
