Representatives of the Ukrainian Association of Ambulatory Physicians continue to help Dnipro hospitals. This time the staff of the Dnipro City Maternity Hospital #1 received modern devices used to treat neonatal jaundice.
The head of the Association of Ambulatory Medicine Artem Svodkovsky said that the representatives of the maternity hospital №1 were given modern compact neonatal phototherapy devices, which were involved with the support of fellow doctors from the United States.
Most babies born prematurely suffer from jaundice. Unfortunately, there are many such babies now, so there is a need for modern compact phototherapy devices. We have received a batch of such devices from colleagues from the United States and are trying to distribute them between the Dnieper hospitals and maternity hospitals so that everyone has enough.
Representatives of the Dnieper City Maternity Hospital №1 were very happy and grateful for such valuable gifts.
We will remind, recently we also transferred devices of phototherapy of babies to the Rudnev Center of mother and child.
