Pupils of Sunday school at the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin in Mykolayiv, Lviv region at a charity fair sold seedlings, which they themselves grew to earn on a quadcopter for the military to the front
The idea arose at the beginning of the war. They wanted to somehow earn money to help the army with the necessary things. First they wove camouflage nets. On Palm Sunday, hand-made holiday willow bouquets were sold to locals. The funds were used to purchase a bulletproof vest for a fellow countryman who was going to the front. Easter eggs were painted to be handed over to our defenders. And in March, children aged 8-12 sowed seedlings of tomatoes, cabbage and flowers.
The buyers of the seedlings were parishioners returning from Sunday worship. They managed to obtain almost 3 thousand hryvnias. These funds are planned to be spent on the purchase of a quadcopter.
We hope that the digital "bird" will soon fly to our defenders
