The occupiers of the Russian Federation damaged the high-voltage line of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant
To ensure sustainable operation of the power system, the station was moved to a lower power level. Currently, the NPP provides food only for its own needs.
This was reported to NNEGC Energoatom.
It is noted that as of April 28, Zaporizhzhya NPP continues to operate in the power system of Ukraine.
"Ecological, fire-fighting and radiation condition on the territory of the industrial site of Zaporizhzhya NPP and in the sanitary protection zone within the norm"
The radiation background at the industrial site is 11 micro-X-rays per hour, in the sanitary protection zone – 8-12. This corresponds to the natural radiation background at the location of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
