On Monday, April 25, the occupiers damaged the new Kreminna substation. As a result, the entire Luhansk region was left without electricity.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional military Administration Serhiy Haidai.
All settlements in the region were left without electricity.
This 500 kV substation supplied energy to most of the towns and villages of the region in peacetime. Also, electricity used to come from Luhansk TPP in the town of Shchastya. Transformer units of the latter were destroyed by the enemy, the Russians are unable to repair them. So, to this day, the substation in Kreminna has remained the only source of electricity supply to the homes of Luhansk residents.
According to him, power engineers have found a scheme to connect the region. Voltage is continuing at the surviving substations.
"The voltage necessary for the needs of the population of towns and villages of Luhansk region will be supplied under a different scheme through powerful power substations that remain in operation in the region. Soon the light will return to the homes of our residents.
