Bucha Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk said that the number of bodies found in the city was growing every day, and almost all of them had been shot.
Direct speech of the mayor of Bucha Anatoly Fedoruk:
“As of the evening of April 6, there were 320 civilians. Criminologists and law enforcement officers are currently working with the bodies, but the number of bodies found is growing every day.
Because the bodies are found in private estates, parks, squares, where there was a possibility that when there were no shellings, they would be buried.
People tried to bury the dead so that they would not be torn to pieces by dogs. Now in the villages of the community in such temporary burials we find new bodies every day."
Asked by a journalist whether they died mainly as a result of shootings or artillery shelling, the mayor replied:
“Almost 90% are bullet wounds, not shrapnel"
