My mother died in front of Vyacheslav from two enemy shells. In the first seconds, the son ran to her, tried to save, stop the bleeding, and then ran for help. But before he could, his mother died on the spot.
Now the boy takes care of his younger brothers and sisters.
«Vyacheslav has no relatives or home. There are four minor siblings left: Olivia – 8 years old, Danilo – 16 years old, Nicole – 11 years old, Timur – 10 years old. All five live in the shelter of the Drohobych dormitory. Despite all the pain and gloom, Vyacheslav smiles at the meeting and reaches out to shake my hand. He is grateful for every gift and help brought by concerned residents»
