Not only people, buildings and infrastructure, but also wild animals suffer from enemy attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
For example, in the Kyiv region, locals rescued a deer with terrible burns. This was announced by Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko.

“Wild animals are also suffering from the war and are suffering terrible injuries. Locals rescued a deer with terrible burns, which he received as a result of the Russian shelling near Kiev," Gerashchenko wrote.

A photo of the animal rescued near the village of Kapitanivka was taken by a Reuters photographer, which drew the community’s attention to the damage caused by the occupiers to wildlife. He said that the roe deer had already received first aid, but the animal had a long treatment ahead. The animal is now in careful hands.
