The state program “Affordable Medicines" operates in Ukraine, emergency medical care is provided free of charge, and family doctors receive temporary migrants anywhere.

For people who have temporarily changed their place of residence, the program“Affordable Medicines"continues to work in pharmacies.

«A person can get all prescription drugs in any pharmacy for free or, if the drug exceeds the price set by the state, for a small surcharge. We have deducted any surcharge on insulin, and it is free in all pharmacies participating in the “Affordable Medicines" program.»

Emergency medical care, hospitalization in any institution in Ukraine will also be provided to IDPs free of charge. According to the relevant order of the Ministry of Health, family doctors must receive migrants anywhere.

«Today, we have issued an order that clearly allows family doctors who practice in the area where people have moved to receive and provide medical care to such patients, prescribe prescriptions, and carry out preventive vaccinations.»

Immigrants in need of ongoing treatment will be provided with the necessary medicines, and the Ministry of Health will regulate their redistribution by region.

«Those who need constant treatment, in particular, for cancer patients, the drugs will come for the patient. Yes, today we are increasing the number of drugs that are transferred to the west of Ukraine, because there Ukrainians receive more medical care»
