As a result of hostilities, the village of Makariv in the Bucha district of Kyiv region was destroyed. Every second house there is damaged or destroyed by artillery shelling, which is still ongoing.
The head of the State Unitary Enterprise of the National Police of Ukraine in Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov noted that there are no local residents in the village, they have all already left. In Makarov, the occupiers also destroyed police stations, stormed a five-story apartment building and a hospital.
“Unfortunately, Makariv is still under fire. What they wants, why the occupiers is pushing here is unknown," – Nebitov said.
