The procedure for cooperation between employees of the Healthcare, the National Police and the Prosecutor's Office in case of establishing the fact of death during martial law has been approved.
The document defines the algorithm of actions:
– employees of health care institutions during the examination of bodies,
– employees of the forensic medical examination bureau during the examination and issuance of a death certificate,
-authorized employees of the National Police of Ukraine during the registration of the case and examination of the body.
A key change is the possibility of establishing the fact of death as a result of hostilities based on the results of an external examination by an forensic medical expert or a doctor in the admission department of a health care institution.
